Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 29 April 2026
This Cancellation & Refund Policy is issued by Web Accuracy (OPC) Private Limited (CIN: U72900JH2020OPC014405) and applies to all paid products and services we offer, including Ruma AI subscriptions (rumadesk.com), top-up credits, and agency project engagements (webaccuracy.com). It abides by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 of India.
1. Ruma AI — Free plan and free trial
- Our Free plan (100 messages/month) requires no payment and no credit card. You can use it indefinitely.
- Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. No card is charged during the trial. If you do not upgrade or cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will not auto-start unless you have explicitly entered a payment method and selected a plan.
2. Ruma AI — Monthly subscriptions
- Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable.
- You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by writing to care@webaccuracy.com.
- Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain full access until that date.
- You will not be charged again after cancellation, unless you re-subscribe.
3. Ruma AI — 6-month plans
- If you cancel a 6-month plan within the first 14 days of the billing period, you are eligible for a prorated refund, calculated as the plan price minus the equivalent monthly rate for the days you have used.
- After the first 14 days, the remaining period is non-refundable, but you retain full access until the period ends.
- Unused message credits within a 6-month plan pool across the six months and carry forward; they expire at the end of the plan period.
4. Ruma AI — Top-up credits and one-time add-ons
- Top-up purchases (extra messages, voice minutes, branding-removal add-on, etc.) are non-refundable once purchased.
- Unused top-up credits expire at the end of the calendar month in which they were purchased.
5. Agency services (webaccuracy.com — design, development, marketing)
- Project deposits and milestone payments for custom website, application, UI/UX, AI/ML, AR/VR, marketing or BPO engagements are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- If a client cancels a project mid-way, fees already paid for completed milestones are forfeited; any unbilled work agreed in the Statement of Work shall be invoiced at the prevailing hourly rate.
- Where a project is cancelled by Web Accuracy due to scope-change disputes, illegal content, or non-cooperation by the client, no refund is provided for work delivered up to the date of cancellation.
6. Failed transactions
If your payment is debited but your subscription or order is not activated within 24 hours, write to care@webaccuracy.com with your transaction ID. We will investigate with our payment processor (Stripe) and either activate the order or refund the amount within 7 business days.
7. How to request a refund
- Email care@webaccuracy.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your registered email, plan/order ID, transaction date, amount, and reason.
- We will acknowledge within 2 business days and decide within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Bank-side credit timelines may add up to 5 additional business days.
8. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us at care@webaccuracy.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved directly. Unauthorised or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and recovery of fees through legal channels.
